These are probably the first things that come to mind when thinking of a summer holiday in Völs am Schlern. Nature. At Chalet Kasch, you will find all three! We are wonderfully located at the gateway to the Schlern holiday area. The Hofer Alpl hiking route and the scenic Prügelweg path are within easy reach, and so are a variety of outdoor opportunities.
Prügelweg path
We simply love the Prügelweg path in Völs. It’s our “household path”, if you like, and definitely our favourite. It’s steep and a bit challenging to negotiate, but absolutely worth the effort!
Where all that
wander feel wonder
Another good reason to spend your summer holiday at Chalet Kasch? You will have plenty of hiking routes and cosy Alpine huts at your fingertips. The Tuffalm, Hofer Alpl and Schnaggenkreuz huts, as well as the Schönblick restaurant and the Tschafon Alpine shelter, are all within easy reach and well worth a visit!
Up hill and down dale
Leisurely tracks through the woods, single trails or longer routes on which to test your pedal power – take your pick! Saddle up and explore the Schlern area starting directly from here!
The Völser Weiher lake
The Völser Weiher is our little water paradise, the place where we like to take a refreshing dip on hot summer days. You can get there using the dedicated bus service that runs from June to October and stops right in front of our door.
